I will meet various learning needs by figuring out what each individual student requires from me as their teacher. I will then use different UDL strategies to help make sure that they can fulfill their needs as a learner in my classroom. I will use positive language, be flexible with the strategies I use to attack these challenges and I will be prepared so that I can give my students the best chance at having a successful learning experience, with all of the different leading needs that each student shall require. I will meet English Language Learners with the resources that are required to have them understand concepts that are needed for their success in my class. I will also identify their level of understanding while determining what is a necessity to know, so they can pass my class. I will provide extra support as well as give alternative learning opportunities to help them understand, and will open those up to the whole class. I will also reach out to my colleagues to get advice from them. I will insure Equity Inclusion and Belonging by including everyone in my classroom. I will not let any other student feel like an outsider by explaining to the class why it is important to welcome everyone. If a student celebrates a different holiday or cultural event, I will not act like it does not exist, I will welcome it and celebrate with my student to make them feel welcomed in my classroom. I will not single out one student because that is not how you make students feel safe and like they belong in the learning environment. I will know my students and figure out what they might need from me to help them succeed in my classroom.
